দক্ষিণারঞ্জন মিত্র মজুমদার (১৮৭৭ বাংলা ১২৮৪ বঙ্গাব্দ - ১৯৫৬ বাংলা ১৩৬৩ বঙ্গাব্দ) প্রখ্যাত বাংলা ভাষার রূপকথার রচয়িতা এবং সংগ্রাহক। তার সংগ্রহিত জনপ্রিয় রূপকথার সংকলনটি চারটি খন্ডে প্রকাশিত যথা ঠাকুরমার ঝুলি,ঠাকুরদাদার ঝুলি, ঠানদিদির থলে ,এবং দাদামাশয়ের থলে । দক্ষিণারঞ্জন মিত্র মজুমদার বাংলা ১২৮৪ সালের (১৮৭৭ ইং) ২ রা বৈশাখে ঢাকা জেলার সাভার উপজেলায় উলাইল এলাকার কর্ণপাড়া গ্রামে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন। তার মাতার নাম কুসুমময়ী ও পিতার নাম রমদারঞ্জন মিত্র মজুমদার। দক্ষিণারঞ্জনের বাবা রমদারঞ্জন ১৯০২ সালে মারা যান। পিতার মৃত্যুর পর তিনি পিসিমা রাজলক্ষ্মীর কাছে টাঙ্গাইল বসবাস শুরু করেছিলেন। তিনি বাংলা ১৩৬৩ সালের (১৯৫৬ ইং) ১৬ই চৈত্র কলিকাতায় মৃত্যুবরণ করেন।
